The Suet Palace is a great option if you are trying to limit pesky squirrels, starlings, or other large birds from eating your suet. You can hang the feeder up without the metal plate and it becomes an upside-down suet feeder, allowing large clinging birds to eat from underneath, while small birds are ablet o fit between the mesh and have access to the suet. If you are looking to only feed the small birds you can rest the metal plate on the bottom of the suet holder, removing the upside-down feeding option and only birds that are able to access the suet through the larger mesh can eat.
