Black oil sunflower seed is a high fat, high protein bird seed that 90% of birds love. This bird seed works great in any style of bird feeder (hopper, fly-through or silo).

Did you know?

Some bird species will sort bird seed by weight? You can often see birds picking up a seed and tossing one aside in favor of another seed. This behavior is usually witnessed when birds are trying to find the heaviest seed. If this instinctive behavior is causing too much of a mess beneath your bird feeder we recommend switching to our medium chip sunflower seed (black oil sunflower seed without the shell).
